$5 Community Flow Class

This class is taught by:

Lindsay Moore

Lindsay Moore is a native of Spartanburg and has been practicing power yoga since 2009. It has become much more to her than the physical workout it started out as. She completed her yoga teacher training at Charleston Power Yoga, a Baptiste Affiliate Studio, where her love and gratitude for this style of yoga and the community it builds grew. Her classes are fun and faster paced, allowing you to get a good workout and let go of stress. Her goal is to get you out of your head and into your body. Lindsay lives at Lake Bowen with her husband, John, and shares her passion for food and wellness on her blog, www.justalittleorganic.com.

Athena Seay

A native of South Carolina, Athena brings to her practice an opening to grace and strength. She is grateful for the gifts that yoga has brought to her. These include overcoming a back injury and helping to raise her three children. Athena is certified through Yoga Alliance (230 RYT) through the Asheville Yoga Center, she also holds certificates in Pre/post natal Yoga and Pilates. Athena has been fortunate enough to take classes from many world masters including Baron Baptiste, Shiva Rea and John Friend. The greatest pleasure in her learning though comes from seeing the transformation that yoga has on her students.

Sarah Beattie

A longtime fitness enthusiast, Sarah had never tried yoga until meeting Southern Om owner Pace Beattie at a local health fair in 2011. She quickly became addicted to the physical and mental benefits of the workout, and found that the heat greatly alleviated her symptoms of psoriatic arthritis. Sarah and Pace also quickly realized they shared a love for both physical and mental health and began a strong partnership, and were married in 2013. Sarah has completed Levels One, Two and Three with the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute, in addition to Art of Assisting and Advanced Art of Assisting. She is in the process of becoming a Tier One Baptiste Certified Teacher. Sarah teaches the Southern 26 and Southern Flow series at Southern Om and is also the studio manager. Sarah is a breast cancer survivor and is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach.

She sits on the board for Gateway, a Clubhouse model of psychiatric rehabilitation for adults with severe mental illness located in downtown Greenville.  She is also active with her church, Holy Cross Episcopal in Simpsonville.

Pace & Sarah have an affinity for moving, and share homes in Greenville and Fountain Inn with her dog Lady.
Join us at Southern Om for a $5 Community Class!  On Fridays at 6:45 pm, we offer a $5 Southern Flow with upbeat music to start your weekend off in style!  These classes are great opportunities to introduce new yogis to our studio for just $5.
