$5 Community 26 Class

This class is taught by:

Kira McKeown

Kira McKeown, originally from Pittsburgh, always loved being physically active in gymnastics, swimming, and long distance cycling. After becoming a mother of two daughters, she knew she needed something deeper than just the physical exercise. After taking her first yoga class she realized it was the first time her mind was quiet. Knowing that there was work to be done on the inside, yoga became an integral part of her life. Taking care of herself through breath and the mind body connection. Kira received her 200 hour teacher training from Asheville Yoga Center and looks forward to sharing the gift of yoga.
When she is not in the studio she is enjoying all the outdoor activities she can with her two daughters Benner and Juno, her husband Scott and their dog Suki.

Nikki McCauley

A Greenville native, Nikki became hooked on yoga after she took her first yoga class in 2005. Over the years, her yoga practice has helped Nikki embrace the fact that she is an imperfect person, trying to find balance, peace, strength, and self-love -- not perfection (on and off the mat). Nikki became a certified RYT200 yoga instructor in 2010 through Yoga Alliance, and feels passionate about teaching students the postures, breath, and connection that keeps bringing her back to her own mat.

Pace Beattie

A Greenville native, Pace learned to cultivate health in all areas of his life through his late parents, Sam and Catherine, who were dedicated to healthy living. Pace discovered a passion for hot yoga while trying to neutralize the stress of his job at the Chicago Board of Trade and increase inner strength and peace. In 2009, Pace decided to pursue his dream to open a hot yoga studio in his hometown of Greenville and Southern Om Hot Yoga opened its doors in June 2010. Pace has completed Levels 1, 2 and 3 with the Baptiste Yoga Institute. With decades of experience in meditation and alternative health, Pace inspires students with his courage and creativity. Pace is married to Sarah Beattie, a fellow yoga teacher and integrative health coach. He serves on the board of directors for the Fullerton Foundation, a family foundation dedicated to funding healthcare and education initiatives in North and South Carolina.

Cindy Farmer

Cindy is a native to Greenville, SC. She found her way to yoga in 2010 when she walked into the doors of Southern Om, took a power hour class and has been in love since. Cindy is yoga alliance certified, 230 RYT, through Asheville Yoga Center and is currently studying Ashtanga based yoga with Ally Ford. Cindy hopes to inspire people of all ages, body types and backgrounds to practice yoga. It has been transformative to her physically and emotionally, bringing peace and balance. Cindy considers it an honor to share yoga with others.
