Think Pilates is just for female professional dancers? Think again. Pilates is finally getting the due credit it deserves, finding its way into the bodies and minds of athletes, yogis, men, women, and mainstream America to name a few. If you want to learn the moves, the breath, as well as advance your existing yoga practice, sport, or just feel plain good, this workshop is for you. Learn to strengthen your spine, core, and overall body through the practice and introduction to Pilates. Then we will test it. We will use Pilates exercises to prep the body for advancing specific yoga poses. We dare you to see what this Pilates thing is all about!
Sarah Primeau is a certified STOTT Pilates instructor, USA Triathlon certified Coach, E-RYT 500 hour certified Yoga Teacher, and movement geek. She's on a mission to dispel the stigmas attached to Pilates through education and community.
