Ginnie hails originally from upstate New York. She was trained as a yoga instructor when she worked at Canyon Ranch Resort in Lenox, MA. She has worked with and been schooled by practitioners of Ashtanga, Kripalu, Iyengar, and Hathayoga.
Her full time job is as a sports performance coach at Acceleration Sports Institute, part of Greenville Health System. Her other certifications include Group Exercise Instructor, Certified Personal Trainer, Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist. In addition, she is a trainer-educator through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, specializing in coaching other fitness instructors on working with clients with neurological disorders, such as Parkinson's Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, traumatic brain injury and stroke.
