KayAnna recently moved here from Utah where she received her 200-hr Yoga Alliance certification with 3B Yoga. She started studying Ashtanga yoga three years ago. It quickly turned into an essential part of her daily routine as she realized yoga was not only the practice of asanas, or postures, but a mindset. The mental and emotional stability she found from her practice was invaluable. She also loved to feel as her body became stronger and her endurance grew. While KayAnna enjoys practicing and teaching multiple types of yoga, Ashtanga Yoga will always remain at the core of her yogic practice--she even met her husband while practicing at their Ashtanga studio in Utah! Her practice and teaching are summed up by these two quotes from Pattahbi Jois: "practice and all is coming" and "you are where you're supposed to be."

Southern Flow is a flowing series of sun salutations, lunges, twists, balance postures, backbends, core strengthening, hip openers and inversions often referred to as Power Yoga. Designed to build core strength and flexibility while still maintaining focus on a meditative practice.

Join us at Southern Om for a $5 Community Class! On Fridays at 6:45 pm, we offer a $5 Southern Flow with upbeat music to start your weekend off in style! These classes are great opportunities to introduce new yogis to our studio for just $5.
Southern Om is committed to sharing our passion for yoga and love for our community which has embraced our studio and has helped us to become Greenville's premier hot yoga studio. Once a month, Southern Om hosts a class where all proceeds go to the designated 'Charity of the Month'. The studio will cover the costs of the instructor, so 100% of all funds collected are passed on to the charity. Please bring check (which may be written directly to charity for tax deduction) or cash for donation.
The class is taught on the second Friday of the month at 6:45 pm and is 75 minutes. All levels of yogis are welcome, so start the weekend off right by supporting a great cause and enjoying a fun, upbeat flow class. Bring your friends - it's cheaper than Happy Hour and feels better too!
