Maryanne is a Miami bred yogini with a deep passion for living and sharing yoga. In college, she studied Psychology and has always been fascinated with the mind/body connection. She has practiced with teachers all over the East and West Coast and makes time to continue her education on and off the mat. Her style is Ashtanga based with flares of different styles for a well rounded flow. Maryanne believes yoga is more than shapes we take with the body, and even so, more than just breathing. On the mat, she will remind you to use your physical practice as body therapy and off the mat to use your practice to help you move gracefully with the eb and flow of our everyday lives.
Maryanne Abdulhadi instructs the following:

Bringing the Moon on the Mat
Have you ever felt off for a few days and someone points out it is a full moon and you can't help but think "why would that effect me?" Maryanne Abdulhadi, our Ashtanga Yoga Teacher, will let you know the moon cycle just about every time she teaches. But why? Why is the moon incorporated into the yoga practice?
This workshop will dive into the moon cycle and its place on the yoga mat, how it effects us off the mat, guided Moon Salutations, and you will leave with the Moon Calendar for this year. This is a workshop for the new practitioner to the weathered practitioner.
All levels, genders, and ages welcome! Bring a yoga mat and an open mind.
Cost is $25.
