I started yoga in 2010 at Southern Om after a dear friend brought a month membership for me as a gift. I was recovering from a sports injury and had always thought high intensity or else. My immersion into the Southern 26 practice helped me learn and appreciate a practice that could physically challenge me and develop a mental discipline (This is also a practice that you can continue the rest of your life). Like my yoga practice I’ve learned to slow down enjoy the moment, be present and not to listen to the stories in my head and enjoy life. I completed 200 hour yoga teacher training with Ally Ford October 2015. I am excited to be a teacher at Southern Om and to share my Love for this transformational practice with others.
