Susan is passionate about sharing her love of yoga as she has experienced first hand how life changing a regular yoga practice can be. She discovered yoga at age 14 but started delving deeper when she discovered a regular Ashtanga yoga practice seven years ago with Maryanne Abdulhadi. The empowerment we find through the present moment experiences of feeling the body can improve quality of life. Although she loves all yoga, the Ashtanga method of breath, locks and gaze was the tool that helped her practice and live from the inside to the outside.
Susan is also Regional Director, South Carolina, for National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA.org), a 501(3)C, where she shares the use of essential oils (the modality of aromatherapy) to community groups, studios, healthcare systems, etc. She received the Registered Aromatherapy designation in 2011 and enjoys practicing, researching and focusing on emotional support through essential oils and has hours in both clinical and holistic training. She holds a Bachelors of Applied Science from Middle Tennesee University (Public Relations, English and Psychology). and was president/owner of a business in Nashville, TN for 10 years before relocating to Greenville, SC.
