NEW Spring Yoga Clothes

Spring has sprung (according to the calendar anyway) and this is the time to start shedding layers. We often think of this figuratively, but let this be a time to think about what layers you might want to shed emotionally. Spring is the season of growth and new beginnings.  What kind of personal growth do you want to see this season?  And if you do want to shed layers of clothing, be sure to check out all the bright new colors in the Southern Om boutique!  We have received shipments from your favorite athletic wear in lots of stylish spring and summer colors.

Baron will be doing another all day immersion in Washington, DC this Fall.  Check out the Baptiste Yoga website for more details!

March Charity Donation Class at Southern Om to Benefit PAALS (Palmetto Assisted Animal Life Services)

Friday, March 8 - 6:45 p.m.

Join SO instructor Jac Cheboratis for a fun, upbeat flow class and all proceeds will benefit PAALS (Palmetto Assisted Animal Life Services). SO student Stephanie Terry has personally been touched by PAALS, as she has enlisted the help of a service dog to help her at work providing therapy.

PAALS trains animals to assist people with varying abilities to live more independent and enriched lives by providing them with assistance dogs. Some of their specially trained canines are taught to turn lights on and off, tug open doors, pick up dropped items and alert for help to assist individuals in wheelchairs. Other dogs go on to assist children with autism and soldiers with PTSD to accomplish therapeutic and real life goals. These dogs are primarily placed in and around South Carolina. For more information, please visit www.paals.org.
