​Come learn from innovaters and experts in the Holistic Health community during the 1st annual ELEVATE UPSTATE; an indoor/outdoor festival designed to attract businesses, services, and product professionals, as well as health practitioners, such as conventional wellness-oriented medical doctors, chiropractors, acupuncturists, body workers, natural chefs, organic farmers, massage therapists, nutritionists, naturopaths, psychologists, yoga and meditation instructors, and fitness experts. These professionals will come together to share their services and products with health-conscious people, from children to seniors.

If you haven’t checked the lineup for this weekend's Elevate Upstate holistic fair, you’re in for a treat! Our very own Sarah Beattie will be teaching an emPOWER hour Saturday morning 11:15-12:15! We will also have goodies to sell and info to give about the studio!

Hips & Hamstrings Workshop SUNDAY

Join Hope THIS Sunday September 18 from 1-3 pm as we get deep into our hips, opening possibilities for deepening YOUR yoga practice! ALL LEVELS WELCOME

Learn how to undo the stress and activity of everyday life, often found lodged in the tightness of our hips! This workshop will delve deeply into opening the hip area. Practice starts with a mindful flow to warm up the body, then moves into a series of hip openers where we will spend time breaking down and exploring the deeper postures.

The hips cannot be forced or cracked open, but with a patient approach, and consistency, the hips will release and open like a blooming flower!

BRING YOURSELF! (and a yoga mat, any props like rollers, and towel & water!)

Friday Night Charity Class to Benefit Cancer Survivors Park

We are so excited to announce our September charity class, this FRIDAY 9/9 at 6:45, will benefit the Cancer Survivors Park in downtown Greenville, currently entering Phase 2 of construction.

The Cancer Survivors Park will be located on a 6.8 acre site along the Swamp Rabbit Trail in downtown Greenville. It will occupy the space below the Chamber of Commerce building, stretching from the edge of Falls Park at Church Street to the edge of Cleveland Park at the Cleveland Street Bridge.

The park will transform a currently inaccessible and overgrown piece of the trail into a unique blend of gathering spaces and natural walkways that provide a place of renewal and healing for anyone who visits. In addition to a restful park setting, the space will include a central pavilion, specialty gardens, and sculptural and educational elements. The park will also house numerous community programs designed to help anyone learn to live with cancer, or any life-altering illness or loss.

When construction of the park is complete, the regular maintenance and supervision of the park will be turned over to the City of Greenville. Ongoing programs and projects for the park will continue to be the responsibility of Patients First and its organizational partners.

$5 Community Classes This Week

Our $5 Friday Flow at 6:45 this week is our monthly DONATION CLASS and is being taught by Athena Seay.  All proceeds benefit Strawberry Fields Sanctuary.  Visit www.strawberryfieldssanctuary.com for more info!  Bring cash or checks - 100% of the monies raised go to charity!

Our $5 Saturday 2 pm Southern 26 is being taught by Ginnie Suleyman.

If you've never tried a class, or are a yogi on a budget, these community classes are for you!  

Sign up for these classes at the Front Desk.  Due to the popularity of the Friday night class, online registration is not available.  Students will be entered in on a first come, first serve basis.

BIG Changes to the Saturday Schedule

We are excited to announce two class changes on Saturdays!

Starting Saturday, April 2, we are changing up our Saturday afternoon line-up.

2 pm Southern 26 will still be 90 minutes of 26, but now it is just $5 to come to class! Our Friday night community class has been so popular, we wanted to give our 26 students the same opportunity. This is a great way to introduce new yogis to the moving meditation we call Southern 26. Join us!

4 pm Southern Flow will now be a 75-minute Deep Southern Flow. Our morning Deep Southern Flow (formerly Slow Flow) classes Mon-Fri have been so well received, we wanted to bring this class to the weekend schedule. This is a slower-paced version of the Southern Flow series which will allow you to go deeper in your postures and really feel the benefits of each posture land in your body.
