70 Days of Sweat: Celebrating Our 2026 Summer Challenge

Seventy days. Thousands of practices. A whole lot of sweat.

Our 2026 70 Days of Sweat Summer Challenge has officially come to an end, and once again, our Southern Om community showed us what can happen when we commit to simply showing up.

For 70 days, we watched you roll out your mats through busy schedules, summer vacations, early mornings, long workdays, and plenty of hot summer afternoons.

Some days, getting to class probably felt easy. Other days, walking through the studio doors may have been the accomplishment.

Every one of those practices counted.

And this year, one member took showing up to an entirely new level.

Congratulations to Our 2026 Summer Challenge Winner: Jay Thao!

181 practices in 70 days.

Yes, you read that correctly.

Jay Thao completed an incredible 181 practices during this year's 70 Days of Sweat Challenge, earning the top spot on our leaderboard.

That's an average of more than 2.5 practices every single day of the challenge.

Jay, your commitment, consistency, and enthusiasm for the practice were extraordinary to witness. Congratulations on an amazing accomplishment!

Celebrating Our Top Finishers

Jay wasn't the only one putting in some serious time on the mat this summer. Our leaderboard was filled with incredible consistency:

Diana Leon — 94 practices
Angi Palmer — 82 practices
Ryan Hyde — 81 practices
Kim Haywood — 79 practices
Ashley Seeley — 72 practices
Kathy Horner — 70 practices
Samantha Hughes — 70 practices
Cleo Seger — 70 practices
Ashley Warlick — 70 practices
Nathan Stevens — 60 practices

Congratulations to each of you. That's a lot of dedication, a lot of time on the mat—and definitely a lot of sweat!

61 Yogis Completed 30 or More Practices

While our leaderboard is worth celebrating, there's another number from this year's challenge that makes us especially proud:

61 Southern Om members completed 30 or more practices in just 70 days.

Think about that for a moment.

That's 61 people who made their practice a priority again and again throughout the summer.

It meant making time when schedules were full. Getting up for the early class. Choosing the mat after a long day. Coming back even when motivation wasn't quite as strong as it was at the beginning of the challenge.

Because that's the thing about consistency: it isn't built on the days when showing up is easy.

It's built on all the other days.

The Real Challenge Was Never Just the Number

We love a good challenge. We love watching those class counts climb, celebrating milestones, and seeing a little friendly competition develop along the way.

But 70 Days of Sweat has always been about something bigger than a number.

It's about discovering what happens when your practice becomes part of the rhythm of your life.

Maybe you became stronger this summer.

Maybe you tried a class you'd never taken before.

Maybe you met someone whose mat is now regularly beside yours.

Maybe your breath became a little steadier when things got difficult.

Or maybe you simply proved to yourself that you could show up more often than you thought you could.

Those are the victories that don't appear on a leaderboard.

To every person who participated in our 2026 Summer Challenge: thank you for bringing your energy, commitment, laughter, determination, and sweat into our studios this summer.

You made these 70 days something special.

And to Jay and all of our top finishers—congratulations!

We'll see you on the mat!
