Do you have a miniscule panic attack when your yoga teacher mentions the words ‘balancing postures’ in class? Does your mind overtake the body in an effort to convince yourself you are a failure if you can’t land the pose? In this workshop led by Brian Delaney, you will learn how the practice of standing balancing poses can serve to improve your self-worth and quiet the mind. By focusing on breath and drishti, you will learn to improve your attention span and your increase your ability to focus. You will learn how to respond to the challenges of life instead of the typical reactions that cause pain.
This is a two-hour master yoga class taught in the Sun Studio at West End. Temperature range is 85-90 degrees.
Cost is $30. Bring a mat, towel and water.
